About the event
An evening of queer performance, poetry & conversation in Lincoln — plus the official launch of the Listening Lines sound trail.
Place, Pride, People is an evening celebrating LGBTQIA+ histories and contemporary queer life in Lincolnshire through performance, storytelling, and conversation.
Join us at The Lawn for an evening of live performance, personal testimony, poetry, drag, burlesque, and community choir — exploring the stories that have shaped queer life in Lincoln and beyond.
The evening also marks the official launch of Listening Lines, an LGBTQIA+ sound trail by Bec Smith of Urban Projections. Following the event, guests are invited to head into the Dawber Garden to experience the trail for themselves.
Part of the Reimagining Lincolnshire Community Engagement Programme, produced by Threshold and funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
