Join us at the lawns for 'Healing Histories': Life at The Lawn, as part of the Reimagining Lincolnshire Heritage project.
We invite you to join us on a journey through the rich and storied history of The Lawn Hospital, previously known as Lincoln Lunatic Asylum, guided by Nigel Horner (Honorary Professor of Social Work and Interprofessional Education) and with further contributions from students from the University of Lincoln.
At the heart of our unassuming city of agriculture, you'll learn how the pioneering “moral treatment” transformed the lives of patients at The Lawn and paved the way for better standards of care for the most vulnerable and misunderstood members of our society.
