From the Maceo Parker ‘School of Funk’, Dennis joins an elite lineage of trombone players responsible for changing its perceptions. From the Brand New Heavies, Jamiroquai and Courtney Pine to Monty Alexnder and PeeWee Ellis, he has lent his ‘bone skills to many jazz, funk and groove personalities. FUNKY-FUNK! is the electrifying hard-hitting outfit delivering fat, angular bass lines and sumptuous horn melodies Dennis dreamed of putting together: “a seriously funky band that makes you wanna move!”
